FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE THEY MADE OUT OF?

I create jewelry out of vintage and upcycled tin items that have included cookie/biscuit tins, tea tins, candy tins, serving trays, recipe boxes, food tins, and even shoe polish tins! The beautiful prints that you see on my earrings are from the tin themselves, but I hand cut every piece based off of a shape or pattern of my own design.

WILL THEY CUT ME?

Each piece may start out as a dangerously sharp piece of metal, but after much hammering, grinding, and sanding, these pieces become smooth and safe for all! They are no more dangerous than any other piece of jewelry you have at home.

DO YOU HAVE AN ONLINE STORE?

While I do not use an online sale platform, contact me with the collection you are interested in and I will let you know what I have available. You will have the best luck with the newer collections, so be sure to check out the ones nearest to the top on the Collections page. Hope to hear from you soon!

WHERE CAN I SHOP IN PERSON?

I live and sell in New Orleans, Louisiana. I do not have a brick and mortar store, but I pop up all over the city! Check out the Upcoming Events page to see my next location. Also, if you have a venue or event that you think would be a good fit for my little shop, please feel free to contact me!

DO YOU WANT TO BUY MY TIN?

Have an old tin in your closet gathering dust? Send me a picture! If I think I can use it, I will trade for an item of jewelry of your choice!

DO YOU SELL GIFTCARDS?

Most certainly! Each piece is so different and unique that it can be nerve-wracking to figure out which one the recipient would like best. I've got you covered! Most of my items are priced between $15 - $25 including tax and I am able to make the gift card out to whatever amount you would like. So keep me in mind for birthday, holiday, teacher, wedding, and just-cause-I-love-you gifts!

WHAT ARE THE EARRING HOOKS MADE OUT OF?

Great question! I source my hooks from different places and they come in a variety of metals. What I CAN tell you is that I always buy nickel and lead-free products. I too have metal allergies and my hooks do not agitate by earlobes, BUT everybody is different. They are also extremely light which cuts down on irritation.
