The Ram Jam Inn – Stretton, Rutland
Once a lively stop along the Great North Road, The Ram Jam Inn began as the medieval Winchelsea Arms before taking on its memorable name in the 19th century. Rebuilt in Tudor Revival style, it later welcomed travelers, motorists, and airmen alike. Though it closed in 2013 and was demolished in 2022, its legacy lives on in local lore—and even in music of Geno Washington & the Ram Jam Band!
